I found some spam in one of my inboxes. The strange thing is that it's one that I only use for a friendster account. No other correspondence has taken place through it. This friendster account has hundreds of friends, so it seems likely that one of its friends is the culprit. In fact, I think the only way to get an email address from a friendster account is during the "Add Friend" use case. Unfortunately I don't know exactly which one it is since the email came from luvlyprnc3zz@yahoo.com, rather than a friendster account.
Oh, and naturally the source of the spam was another networking site called MySpace.
Side note: Why is there so much competition to deliver a free service? I can see that there might be some Gold in Them Thar Hills, but no one's shown how to actually make money off of the social networking service meme yet. If you want to start playing this game right now, it's going to be a race to the bottom of your corporate bank account.
